What is the ideal keyword density of a page?

Hi guys,

When we talk about getting to the first of google there might be a question of the ideal keyword density of a page. How many percentage of keyword density should a page have 0.7%, 7%, or 77%? Or is it some other number?  Here in the video that we bring you today, the Google webmaster team will have the answer for your.

But hang in right there for a sec, here are the brief information before you jump to the video.

People just might think keyword density is just like one recipe to follow, but it is not the way it works. What he recommended is having the article long enough to contain your keyword and make it sounds natural with your keyword in it.

Be careful when you are told about the exact number of keyword density as you might fall into the scenario that someone is trying to sale you the keyword density software.

This might not be the answer you've expected. But believe me I was looking for the same stuff before only to find that there there is no such ideal keyword density. What matter more is the content of your article. It has to be very useful for them, help to solve their problem. If your content answer their question and the problem is resolved then for sure they will come back and they will even recommend this to others.

Make it useful make it more natural without worrying to much about keyword density then you should be good to go, that is my 2 cents.

Thank you.
